The economy is making a comeback for good, more jobs will become available and the threat of bankruptcy and financial disaster will disappear once and for all. Many will be able to regain their financial freedom again and begin enjoying great financial times again.
Let’s start with identifying the problem. The problem is that credit cards put people in debt. Plain and simple.
When you’re trying to renegotiate your credit card debt you can do this by two ways.
A. You can try calling your creditors and tell them that you would like to renegotiate and would appreciate it if you could be passed to a manager that can make this decision. The credit manager is given the ability to lower your debt or lower your interest rate so that you do not accumulate a lot of debt. This is not the best way out of debt however, as it still keeps your debt revolving.
B. The second option is getting your debt erased. According to this stimulus package, if you have over ,000 in debt it can be erased. But you must have over 10,000. This is also for those who had dismounted debt when the bill was passed. To find out if you qualify but there are many websites that can tell you this in a few seconds.
After looking at the credit industry, I am more apt to say than ever that I feel as though they have succumb to greed and they are using the American public as a vehicle to make them richer and richer every day.
What to do if the Stimulus package does not apply to you.
If the credit manager doesn’t help you, you can ask for somebody else. If they can’t help you. Call back. Generally, because you’re dealing with telephone operators, if someone is in a bad mood they may not help you as much as you would like. So, it is important to call with a very good attitude and with a smile on your face, because realize, they are talking to disgruntled Americans every day and that a smile can take you a long way and have you speaking to the right person within a matter of minutes
